Your physical keyboard, detected

ANSI (US) with its straight Enter, ISO (European) with the tall L-shaped Enter and the < key, or JIS (Japanese) with ¥, ろ and 英数/かな around a short spacebar. Detected automatically, overridable manually. Finger zones are mapped per layout, and the on-screen keys mirror what is printed on yours.

The keys come from macOS, not from a list inside the app. Whatever input source your Mac can type, from Norwegian to Thai to Arabic, Tactomo shows on screen. macOS ships more than 250 keyboard layouts, and there is no language the keyboard itself does not support.

Native key labels

Switch your input source to Korean and the keys show Hangul jamo (ㅂㅈㄷㄱ…), including the shift layer’s double consonants. Japanese Kana and Taiwanese Zhuyin (ㄅㄆㄇ…) render natively too.

The app’s own text, from settings to practice hub and onboarding, is translated into these 23 languages. It follows your macOS preference and switches live without a restart. Your keyboard is never limited to this list, only the menus are.
