Terms of use
You pay once, you own your license, and you can get your money back if Tactomo is not for you. The details follow.
Last updated 19 October 2026
When you buy Tactomo you get a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to 2 Macs that you own or control. The license has no expiry date. You may not sell, rent, share or redistribute the app or your license key, and you may not reverse engineer the app or remove its license mechanism.
Every new installation includes 7 days of full use at no cost, with no account and no payment details. When the trial ends, the overlay pauses until a license key is entered. Nothing you have set up or practised is lost.
Tactomo costs 249 NOK, $26.99 or €23.99 once, including applicable taxes, shown in your local currency at checkout. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Purchases are processed by Polar Software Inc. as the merchant of record, which means Polar is the seller on your receipt and handles payment, taxes and refunds. Your license key arrives by email right after purchase, and you can always find it again in the purchase portal.
If Tactomo is not what you hoped, email support@tactomo.com within 14 days of purchase and you get a full refund, no questions asked. A refunded key stops working.
All updates to version 1 are included in the price and are delivered through the app's built-in updater. We may release a paid major version in the future. Your existing license keeps working for the version you bought.
Use "Release this Mac" in the app's license window before you sell or wipe a Mac, or remove the old Mac in the purchase portal. Your key can then be activated on the new Mac.
Tactomo is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or that it works with every future version of macOS. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
